More than a phrase - it’s the quiet principle behind everything I create.

I am Kateryna, the graphic and tattoo artist behind Black Flora, specializing in fine line, dotwork and micro realism. I create custom tattoos inspired by your photographs, personal stories and meaningful memories. My work is founded on emotional connection, aesthetic precision and a simple commitment: your story will be treated with care.

As a resident tattoo artist at True Canvas, I share a cosy creative space in Vienna’s 4th district, Wieden, just five minutes from Belvedere Palace. Here, we can take time to explore your ideas and create something personal together. Appointments are by booking only, with consultations in English, German and Ukrainian.

In 2020, I left an office career in a very different industry to follow what felt right. I learned through private, one-on-one mentorships with artists in Kyiv - an experience shaped around my vision, my pace and my desire to create something meaningful. That choice changed everything. It wasn’t just a shift in profession - it was the beginning of work that truly reflects who I am.
